AT THE TIME OF JESUS’ PUBLIC LIFE & LATER ON
4. The Hatred of the Jews (pg. 55-56)
After the Resurrection of Her Son, Mariam, lived in Jerusalem. She stayed in Jerusalem for about thirty years.
But those years were when Christians suffered martyrdom living in Jerusalem. Above all Christians, the Mother of Jesus experienced emotional pain. (...). Being Jesus’ mother, people targeted Her! They taunted Her, mocked Her, and slandered Her!
There were many times when they would gather outside Her house, ready to throw rocks and intimidate Her! But Her Son “interceded” with His invisible power, driving them out of the house. They would return and insist on doing their evil actions, until one day they learned their lesson.
These wicked people decided to demolish Mariam’s holy home, with rocks, crowbars, pickaxes and flaming torches. When they had surrounded the house, they began the destruction yelling with their angry voices. They abased themselves! The crowbars and pickaxes broke as if they were made out of paper! The rocks that struck the house door, rebounded and hit them! The same happened with the flaming torches! The flames changed direction causing themselves facial injuries! They ran away from that house without being able to do the slightest damage!
In spite of their abasement, they did not stop taunting and mocking the Mother of the Lord. They did not even respect Her funeral, but they got their lesson there too.
