The Holy Fathers, guided by the light of the Holy Spirit, "penetrated" the depths of the Sacrament of Baptism and "discovered" its secrets. Precious things; we carry within us a great treasure.
May this book help us, so that we can use-evaluate this treasure, for the salvation and sanctification of our souls. Amen.

A SEGMENT OF A CHAPTER
  Baptized and Unbaptized

" The demons dwell in the souls of the unbaptized, because they want to deceive them and pollute them...and they incite them to works that God hates." And that's not the only bad thing.
The unbaptized does evil things with ease. And when he does something evil, e.g., a homicide, he feels guilty, but in comparison to the baptized person, who commits the same evil, his guilt is light, bearable. In other words, they have no (great) inhibitions about such sins.

    St. Diadochos

 " From the moment a man is baptized and born again, Satan comes out of the depths of his soul, and now through Holy Baptism the divine grace enters there, and dwells! This is what prophet David meant allegorically: "The royal daughter is all glorious within the palace".
Now Satan fights man from the outside; through the body; through the bodily senses; from there he shoots his arrows. It happens to Satan, as it happens to the physical enemy; when he cannot defeat the opponent at close quarters, he shoots arrows from afar; and arrows are shot by the one who is outside This is why fasting is a weapon against the devil". 

Let us not forget that the devil deceived the first humans, Adam and Eve, using their body, their belly, as an instrument.
